Hi all, i was wondering if any of you knew of any websites or email groups for blind people. Are there any sites similar to the zone? just curious.
www.whitestick.co.uk is a very good website and you can find a lot of websites there. But i didn't see a website similar to the zone myself. There are forums around but the zone had very original ideas like quicknotes, audio profiles, graphity etc. These features are not available anywhere else in accessible form.
If you're looking for e-mail groups just go on yahoo.com and search for blind lists or something like that. They have a ton of them. I have belonged to a number of yahoo groups for the blind but got tired of most of them pretty quickly and unsubscribed. But there are dozens, perhaps hundreds. Right now I belong to two for discussion of books and one for blind diabetics. I used to belong to one for users of LG cell phones and one called blind friends. I know there are a lot out there.
hi, thanks i'll do this. i think the zone is definitely best for chatting, just get sick of the drama sometimes.
